As you know, Every year RRB Recruitment Board conducts the exam for its Non Technical post as well as Technical Post. This year also RRB has announced Recruitment for its Non-Technical post alias Non- Technical Popular Categories (NTPC). It is a golden opportunity for all of the candidates who are preparing for Govt.  Jobs especially, Railway.

What is RRB NTPC?

RRB NTPC is a recruitment drive by Indian Railways to recruit graduates as well as undergraduates who don’t belong to a technical background. However, Candidates with Technical backgrounds can also apply for the same.

The various posts that fall under RRB NTPC are Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist,  Trains Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist,  Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper and Station Master.

EXAM DATES

RRB is likely to conduct the CBT-1 exam in the month of August or September. However, the exact dates are yet to be announced by RRB. We advice all the candidates to follow the RRB website and notifications on a regular basis to stay updated.

RRB Exam Pattern This Year

The recruitment process is grouped into 4 stages which are CBT 1 & 2, Skill Based Test and Document Verification and Medical Examination. CBT 1 and 2 are mandatory for all, Candidates who qualify in CBT are to be called for Skill Test. However, Skill-based test is there only for selected posts followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.

According to the notification, there is a Computer aptitude test for the post of Station Master and Traffic Assistant while a Typing test for Junior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper.

NOTE: There will be 1/3rd of Negative Marking.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the first and the second CBT test whereas, rest of the stages are qualifying in nature.

RRB NTPC ADMIT CARD DOWNLOAD

RRB is going to release the exam hall ticket soon. Candidates can download there admit card from the website of the respective Railway Zone for which they have applied. RRB Board sends SMS notifications and email alerts to the candidates regarding the e-Call Letter with all relevant details on their registered mobile number and registered email ID.
