Potatoes:

Choose baked, boiled, or mashed potatoes, plain pasta or rice, or pasta with a low-fat milk-based sauce as opposed to potato chips, French fries, risotto, or pasta with creamy or tomato-based sauces.

Choice of Desserts:

It is advisable to go for marshmallows, hard candies other than mints, home-made low-fat desserts, fruit-based desserts, sherbet, or low-fat pudding instead of chocolate, cookies, cakes and pastries.
